Day 1 - Colombo
On arrival meet and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Park Street Hotel, Colombo.
Day 2 - Sigiriya.
Breakfast at hotel, leave for Pinnawela and visit the Elephant Orphanage. This Orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Travel to Sigiyiya.
Overnights in Vil Uyana, Sigiriya.
Day 3 - Sigiriya.
After breakfast climb the rock of Sigiriya built by the Patricide King Kashyapa in 5 A.D. Proceed to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital of SriLanka dating back to the 11th and 12th century A.D. Numerous monuments are found in this city and the "Gal Vihara" complex is one of the best among them with the fine sculptures of the recumbent, standing and seated Buddha's.
Overnight in Vil Uyana, Sigirya.
Day 4 - Sigiriya.
After breakfast leave for the Minneriya Wildlife Park. Elephants are well-known inhabitants but the park is also home to deer, crocodiles and monkeys.

Day 5 - Kandy.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Kandy, the hill capital, en-route visit the rock cave temple of Dambulla, spice garden and batik factory at Matale. Proceed to the city of Kandy and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Visit a gem museum and also witness the process of gem cutting and polishing in SriLanka. In the evening view the Kandyan cultural performance.
Overnight in Kandy House, Kandy.
Day 6 - Kandy.
After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya the Herbarium and the Orchid House with the largest single colletion of orchids in Asia.
Overnight in Kandy House, Kandy.
Day 7 - Hatton.
Proceed after breakfast to Hatton, a small town in the Nuwara-Eliya District, a notable centre of Ceylon Tea Plantations and industry. Experience the cool weather of Nuwara Eliya fondly known as "Little England" The vast tea estate contributing to the Island's largest income.
Overnight in Tea Trails, Hatton.
Day 8 - Hatton.
After breakfast enjoy the sights and activities of Nuwara Eliya including visits to tea planatations, golfing, horse riding, boating, hiking and of course exploring the beauty of the landscaped gardens, waterfalls and plateaus.
Overnight in Tea Trails, Hatton.
Day 9 - Beach.
After breakfast transfer to your chosen beach resort.
