None of the hotels featured by Tropic Breeze employ a pool attendant or lifeguard, so never permit your children to swim in a hotel pool without adult supervision. Remember, always check the depth of a pool before entering it and never dive into a pool unless you are certain it is sufficiently deep.

Many pool surrounds can become slippery when wet, particularly if sun tan oil has been spilt. Please be especially careful when walking around the pool or indeed on any other wet, tiled surface.

When swimming or snorkelling in the sea in Sri Lanka, always check local conditions. There are many dangerous currents and uneven sea beds, and there are no warning signs or lifeguards.
